Director of International Operations
Oversees the entire team, provides overall direction to Safeplace operations, ensures alignment with the organization's strategy, and leads international program teams to manage and deliver cost-effective, high-quality programs . Ioannis has worked with the United Nations and various non-profit organizations involved in multi-sectoral humanitarian operations in complex areas, with a strong understanding of communication in intercultural environments.

Athens Housing Collective Director
Rachael is an activist, artist and psychology graduate from the UK. Rachael's passion is improving access to mental health support for displaced individuals. She is responsible for Athens Housing Collective and for developing programs for Safe Place Greece.


Chloe
Moms2moms Director
Chloe Powers is a researcher, activist, and artist from Washington DC, USA and Brussels, Belgium focusing on migration and gender.
She formerly worked with the Aman Shelter in Istanbul, and now runs the Women and Children’s Shelter on the Greek Island of Lesvos.

A Ugandan LGBTQ activist and a refugee activist in Greece.

Taylor
Director of Finance
Taylor graduated in 2015 with a degree in Accounting and International Business from Baylor University in Texas and later worked as a volunteer at Aman LGBT Shelter in Istanbul. She currently lives in Amman, Jordan and is the Director of Finance for Safe Place International.



Polina
Community Center Coordinator
Polina is the Community Center Coordinator. She oversees the project holistically,daily operations, volunteers,classes by taking under consideration the needs and well being of community members. She is an activist, envolved with the community from an early age. She graduated Social Work and she worked in various integration programs in Greece and in UNHCR programs. Her dream is to participate in humanitarian missions all over the world.

Lydia
Psychologist
Lydia is a psychologist with a special interest in victimized populations suffering from trauma and being in need of psychological support and aid to re-integrate back to the society. She has worked in various clinical environments and she is currently supporting the residents of Athens Housing Collective.

Nur
Food Distribution
Passionate human rights activist who is strong in lobbying with organizational skills and a community-based drive. Experienced in educating the public on a cause and raising support from the proper entities, with a track record of positive solution development and dedication within the community. Former caseworker and currently responsible for the smooth operation of the community centre kitchen and bar that runs daily to serve members of our community, their friends and allies. And the monthly food distribution towards the members of our community.

Community Voice
Social media coordinator and community center program supervisor that oversees volunteers and daily operations of a multi-level, safe community collaboration space, as well as being responsible of overseeing communication, ensuring that SPG message is consistent and engaging, and building our organisation recognition on social media.

Visual Content Supervisor
As a photographer, designer and social media manager, Inés is responsible of the visual content of Safe Place International and the projects in it. She’s in charge of connecting what happens inside SPI with the world, through social media.
